Care Chiropractic Center utilizes the state-of-the-art technology "Subluxation Station", which allows Dr. Surkosky to objectively detect areas of nerve disturbance which are not visible on x-rays. The data is also used to monitor patient progress and determine how to deliver the appropriate chiropractic care.
Because abnormal spinal function and/or position can cause nervous system disturbance, the two standard tests used are:
SEMG - measuring the amount of electrical current in the muscles, and
Thermography - measuring skin temperature along the spine.
With the help of this technology, Dr. Surkosky can provide a custom treatment program to meet your specific health needs.
